2 months old today!

My baby is getting older. Today He is 2 months old! Now that is something to think about!

Here is Michael showing off his cute little boy!

Oliver is getting very good at standing, especially when is is mad... But in this case he is a happy baby. This picture was this morning before his 2 month doctor check-up.

Oliver is 14lbs and 1/2 oz and 25 inches long. He is happy in the pictures, but currently is is a grump! He is very sleepy after getting shots today. He will wake up screaming, I feel awful! I made Michael hold his hand when he got his shots, I couldn't watch. It was hard to listen to him scream.

Oliver is now getting good at holding his head up on his own. He has started blowing bubbles with his mouth, which has lead to some drool. He previously has not drooled at all. He does not care for tummy time. He will only last a few mins until he cries. He has started to smile and laugh when you talk to him. He responds very well. I'm sure he's very excited about xmas coming up... hehe, I know i am.

For Thanksgiving a lot of my family is getting together and many have not seen him yet, and I am very excited for everyone to get to meet the little guy!

Traditions

We are so excited about the holidays. I cannot wait! It is very exciting to have our first Christmas with a new baby. Mike and I have been brain storming about holiday traditions to start with Oliver to make it as special as we can. Mike said this morning that when "Santa" comes and we leave out the milk and cookies, "We know Santa very well and know that he really likes Egg Nogg, not milk..." It was very cute. So Nogg it is i guess! I read somewhere that people used the tree skirt and each year trace the children's hands on the skirt with the year. I think this would be super cute to have as they are older and have a bunch of hands from each age all over it. I think I'm going to start this one. Do you have a holiday tradition that you want your kids to remember when they are older? I want my children to love the holidays and for it to be a special time of year. Oh well i guess nap time is over for little Oliver. Time to go...
